We were so lucky to have a photo session with the super gorgeous and talented and extra lovely duo Sandra and Amelia that is A Pop of Love Photography
As soon as we arrived it felt like it was going to be a fun experience. There were snacks and drinks and colouring in and DVD’s on a flat screen to make the kids really feel at home. The whole studio was beautiful and welcoming. Most photo studios are so clinical with no life in it. This was a space you wanted to Instagram a lot 
Minty is an actress at home, but as she gets older we see that she can get a bit shy at times when you ask her to do something she isn’t used to. She’s very stubborn about it too, so I wasn’t too sure how she would go. She gets her photo taken a hundred times a day at home by us, and doesn’t bat an eyelid, but she doesn’t often find herself in a studio having her photo taken. Right from the beginning Amelia and Sandra were so much fun, and had such a beautiful energy with the kids and not once pressured them to do any sort of posing or ‘standing still’. They just let them giggle and bounce around or sit or lay or do whatever they wanted to. Occasionally they would pop a little prop in and let the kids drape over or play with whatever little object was handed to them and when the confetti came out it was all giggles and smiles.
I haven’t ever had photos of the kids taken together professionally, so I was really excited about how it would all turn out.
Since Iggy was super little, people have wanted to take his photo for magazines and different shoots and things. He is so gorgeous and I guess with his long beach hair he stands out and his beautiful soul is always present in a photo. He’s only ever had a few photo shoots, and he was a lot younger and so shy and just didn’t love it, so we never pressured him to do it. So I was a little nervous asking him if he was ok to have his photos taken with Minty, but he was actually really excited to do it.
I was so happy with how it all turned out and they both loved the whole experience. Iggy even said he couldn’t believe he didn’t want to do photos shoots when he was little because he said it was easy and fun and he said he might want to do shoots now?! He’s so cute.
